It was never clear to me what I wanted to study when I got out of school. I had varied tastes that were not compatible with each other, I thought many times about studying veterinary medicine or marine biology, but they did not convince me. I also thought that music could be an option, but I think that despite being something that I love and that has always been with me, it was not a profession that I liked enough to dedicate years of my life only to it. I remember that in the third year I was very scared, since it was the moment to decide what career we wanted and that was not clear to me, I just knew that I was constantly questioning how the world works and how people work in their diversity. inside of her.
One day a history teacher taught me Anthropology and said: "Do you know what to study?" I said no and he showed me a text with an ethnographic study of anthropology. From that day on I knew that this was what I wanted to study, in what I saw myself as a woman and as a professional.
My experience at the university has been very pleasant, it is an environment of respect and I think my classmates are very good. I love this career, I am very happy and my ideal job would be in Australia doing ethnographies.
I think that the confusion about not knowing what career to study is very understandable. On the other hand, I am very struck by both of us that we have discovered a taste for anthropology in such an unexpected way.
