This is one of my favorite photographs.
I took this photographs in June 2010 at Chungará lake in Arica. That day we were on an excursion on a tour through some sectors of Arica, we traveled many hours to reach that lake, because it is approximately 4,500 meters above sea level. It was a very tiring trip and when I got to the top, I started to feel very bad. Well, we were at a high altitude and oxygen is starting to run out. Anyway we decided to keep going up and that's how I was able to take this photo, I'm very glad I didn't stay down hahahaha
Although it is not the best photograph of that trip, I think it is the one I like the most, because it conveys an inexplicable level of peace. For me that was a very special trip and after visiting different cities in the north, I realized that I love visiting it.
How cool the photo you took. What do you like the most about the north?
